The Clown: This is a classic comedy that was a joint collaboration between Mandy and me. It is about Richard Jenkins, real life clown that has his own afternoon kids show. Make no mistake about it though, Rowdy is no Bozo. This guy likes to party and takes everything to the extreme. What he does on stage and the big top is barely legal. He likes to boogie and have a good time, and the kids absolutely love him. His ratings go through the roof, and it is not just kids that watch him, he is the favorite show on virtually every demography. College kids watch him, moms love him and even in nursing homes the dial is set to his show every day at 4 pm. About the only people who aren’t into Rowdy are his own kids. They want a normal dad, not one that drives around in a 32-foot long Wienermobile honking and waving. Fame as it turns out comes with a cost and at the height of his popularity Richard is about to lose his family including his wife that has stood by him. What the audience doesn’t know is that Richard can not become Rowdy until he has a drink. His family knows that but no one else. This is a comedy that will make you laugh and make you cry. Above all else, it will make you think about the most important things in life.
