The USNV ARNVG Dual Tube Goggle - Gen 3 Auto-Gated Articulating Housing - White Phosphor is constructed with aircraft grade aluminum, so it is able to withstand extreme outdoor environments exceeding MIL-STD-810H drop testing requirements. The design also allows for an extremely wide range of interpupillary distances ranging between 47mm and 80mm. On/off push-button switches control the image screen and a built-in IR illuminator independently. The buttons have distinct tactile feels so the user is alerted to which is being pushed and the IR illuminator button has a guard around it to prevent inadvertent activation.
