This AC Adapter has been specifically qualified by Mazur Instruments for use with the PRM-8000/9000 Geiger Counter and Nuclear Radiation Monitors. The included interchangeable plugs enable the AC adapter to be used virtually anywhere in the world providing the user with complete global flexibility. The Intelligent Power Control of the PRM-8000/9000 will sense that external power is present and will invoke the external power settings to enable such functionality as always-on display/backlight, while conserving internal battery capacity. When external power is removed, the PRM-8000/9000 will revert to the battery settings defined by the user.
