The fixed inner pocket with main compartment and zippered mesh pocketkeep everything organized and simple to access. The bag is designed with base feet to prevent the bottom from wearing off due to repeated friction when pressing the bag agaisnt rough surface while closing it. But its not just the base - the entire bags exterior is made of tough polyester and Codura fabric for complete protection from the elements. It is designed to be mounted on the front rack, but it is also a good option for younger riders or shorter tours. The Ortlieb Sport-Packer Plus is equiped with the QL2.1 elliptical mounting allowing easy mounting on virtually any rackwith a tube diameter from 8mm to 16 mm (differently sized hook inserts are included). You can detach the pannier with one hand and carry it with the shoulder strap for a quick day trip or safe storage when leaving your bike. You can also use the optional harness sytem to turn one pannier into a backpack for a hiking trip. The bags opening is also made of original Ortlieb technology, including the waterproof, easy-access classical lid roll-up closure, which provides dust and snow/rain protection.
