For added versatility, these doorknob sets fit standard 1 3/8 inch thick doors without modification. A longer spindle may be needed for 2 3/4 inch thick doors. For thicker doors, please email us for a custom quote. These are surface mounted doorknob sets; if you'd like to use the double dummy knobs individually, you can do that. Double dummy sets may require countersinking if your door does not have a borehole.
