The Air Jordan 7 “Flint 2021” is a re-release of the colorway of Michael Jordan’s seventh signature shoe that was originally introduced by Jordan Brand in 2006. The original “Flint” colorway was part of Jordan’s efforts of establishing Air Jordans as “lifestyle” designs that featured colorways and materials that could be worn off the court. Jordan Brand brought the shoe out of the vault in May 2021, nearly fifteen years after it first appeared in the public’s consciousness. The upper’s underlying base displays a plush grey suede construction. White leather overlays on the forefoot, eyelets, mid-panel, collar, and heel provide a stark contrast in design. A purple embroidered Jumpman appears on the collar and purple “Air Jordan” detailing is stitched onto the multicolor nylon tongue. The Jordan 7’s sock-like bootie provides the wearer with a comfortable yet supportive fit. Release date: May 1, 2021.
